Dr. Daniel K. Smith memorial winner at GACTE Conference

Dr. Danny Smith, Career Solutions Publishing’s customer service representative in Atlanta passed away in early 2017. In his memory, the company awarded memorial site licenses of its premier Job Ready Career Skills online software to two schools with teachers at the Georgia CTAE Conference in July. The winners were Broderick Stargell of Callaway Middle School in LaGrange, GA, and Robyn Woods of Pelham High School in Pelham, GA.

Dr. Smith was a highly-respected, beloved educator who served the Atlanta Public Schools for over thirty years. He was known as a curriculum innovator and mentored many young educators who now serve Georgia counties as CTE directors, WBL coordinators, classroom teachers, and counselors. Danny will be missed.
